Colour is immensely important to him and he was greatly influenced by Pierre BONNARD.
He prepares and coats its canvas himself according ancient hand-made techniques. It guarantees an unlimited life in its works and an excellent preservation of colors.
He spends a lot of time to organize and arrange his compositions arduously, making detailed sketches, drawings and above all watercolours and pastels to work out the forms, colours and declensions of tones. His final paintings (mainly oils or tempera) sometimes have the look of spontaneity but execution was only possible for him after months of preparation. His style continues to evolve.
Member of the French National Council of Plastic Arts founded by Georges BRAQUE.
